We had 3 nights in Paihia, spent our time here comfortably. We were allowed to use a small kitchen with a microwave, an electric kettle and a fridge. In addition, free Wi-Fi was useful.

Our room looked out at Bay of Islands which was a plus. It's a short walk to haruru falls, accessible to everything. Really enjoyed the swimming pool...
